Micro Fulfillment Center Tour, Bowlingbrook, IL

Sep 2, 2024

We had the opportunity to take a tour of the Walgreens Pharmacy Micro Fulfillment Center in Bolingbrook, IL. We learned how robots are slowly taking over the center in order to complete a variety of tasks. From filling medicine canisters to delivering medicine, these robots are doing it all! We were also able to talk to an employee at the center to see his perception on how Walgreens will use robots and artificial intelligence to change the way that they work with medicine.
